It's Jacket Season

Step outside and one thing is clear:

It's jacket season!

But if your customers are based in, say, Texas, you probably don't have much interest in heavy winter jackets for sub-zero conditions. To make things a little easier, we asked Trimark reps from different regions to share their favorite styles.

Trimark Rep:  Rachel Hare

Jacket:  Roots 73™ Bridgewater Insulated Jacket

Why She Loves It

"The Bridgewater is perfect for Chicago's frigid temps and snowy days! It's water-resistant, water-repellant and rated for extreme cold conditions. And … BACKPACK STRAPS!!! Interior backpack straps allow you to wear your coat off the body like a backpack – a much better alternative to carrying it or suffering through the grocery store dressed like a polar bear."

Trimark Rep: Patti Mueller

Jacket: Bergamo Softshell

Why She Loves It

"It's the perfect weight for three-season where down South, where it never gets extremely cold. I love that I can take off the hood off on sunny days or keep it on for rain – the Bergamo is waterproof, too. From a style perspective, it's really versatile. You can wear it with slacks for something dressier or jeans on the weekend."

Trimark Rep: Julie Cates

Jacket: Oracle Softshell

Why She Loves It

"For starters, we get plenty of rain up here, so the waterproof fabric, critical seam-sealing and removable hood are all important. The three-layer construction keeps me warm, but it's also got breathable back vents to keep me from getting too warm. Aside from the comfort and performance, the Oracle is extremely on-trend, with zippered pockets and an interior camo graphic lining."

Trimark Rep: Shaun Rolfe

Jacket: Index Softshell

Why He Loves It

"If I had to sum up the climate up in Vancouver, it'd be 'unpredictable.' We definitely get our share of rain here along the Pacific coast, so the waterproof Index Softshell is perfect. It's fully seam-sealed to keep out moisture, and the fabric has a water-repellent finish."
